This residency is for individuals who sense a call toward pastoral ministry and want to grow in both character and competency before stepping into full-time ministry.
It is designed for those willing to be formed through hands-on ministry, mentorship, and theological development.

Applicants are required to have an Associate’s degree or equivalent of two years of college credit.
If you have not yet completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, we provide education support to help you continue your studies while participating in the residency.

The residency is a two-year commitment.

Yes. Residents are compensated $25 per hour for 25 hours per week.
This includes paid ministry experience along with education support throughout the program.

We do not manage housing directly, but we partner with families in our church community to provide host home opportunities at no cost to residents.
This is a meaningful part of residency life and helps integrate residents into the rhythm and culture of the church.

While we invest deeply in every resident and work to prepare you for ministry, placement at Wellspring or any specific church is not guaranteed.
Our goal is to equip and send leaders who are ready for faithful ministry wherever God leads them.
